Currently I am teaching at the Lake Worth (561-868-3214) and Palm Beach Gardens (561-207-5314) Campuses. These are under the auspices of the Learning Unlimited Program, Bite Sizes Learning for Adults, which does not employ tests or grades, just learning for the love of it!

Photoshop® is truly the 800 pound gorilla of the graphics world, with a very deep and broad interface. We start at the beginning, even if you have no Photoshop experience, and walk you through the basics in Photoshop Beginnings. Many of these basic photo imaging principles apply both to Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, an excellent program for the hobbyist. It is reccommended however, that you have a basic understanding of computing and your operating system, either Windows or Mac, first.

Topics we cover in the Beginnings course include The Work Area, Tools, Navigating, Using the Bridge (File Browser), Making Selections, (Tools & Methods), Layer Basics, Layer Styles (FX), Resolution, Resizing, File Size, Image Adjustments & Basic Photo Corrections.

After the Beginnings course, you may go on to the Layers, or Level II course, which will go further in depth, with topics such as Retouching & Repairing Photos, Masks, Channels, Painting, Editing, Paths, Pen Tools, Shapes, Type, Advanced Layer Techniques, Filters, Special Effects, Optimizing, Saving for Web, Printing & Collages.

One of the cornerstones of my classes is my belief that they must be tailored to the needs and goals of the students. Many adults come to these classes with tremendous variation in their experience and skills; it is my primary job to first ascertain what the student needs and how best to proceed to attain their goals.
